Private Capital Management's leaders are Bruce S. Sherman and Gregg J. Powers. Mr. Sherman established the firm in 1986. He is Chief Executive Officer of the firm. Mr. Powers joined the firm in 1988 and is President. Joseph J. Farley, Managing Director of Investment Research, joined the firm in 2002.
